Ms. Priscilla Renea...I said Ms. Priscilla Renea! listen, this girl is IT her album Jukebox was just released on Dec. 1st, with the smash hit Dollhouse now i must admit when I first saw the dollhouse video I really wasn't impressed, but I was up late on youtube and decided to watch the video randomly. And from there I started playing some of her other videos & start really jammin to some of her acoustic videos. Then found my way on to her myspace page and heard her album and was BLOWN AWAY. This girl can sing like not for no play play, in real life she can sing lol. The beauty of Priscilla is that she was discovered on youtube!! So there is hope for us youtubers lol...no but really she used her talent to the best of her ability, and look where shes at now, a new album, video on MTV, really taking off. She is definately the future of the music. She is not just an artist she is a musician, she plays the guitar, keyboard, and i think learning to play the drums. Her voice is really refreshing to listen to, and she knows what she's talkin about. I definately recommend her album to anyone that loves hear good music. The beauty of her album, that is missing from alot of albums, is that you can play every song from 1-11 without skipping a song. You truely want to hear and love every song on the album. Shes fun, quirky, and different.
I recently (dec.4th) had the pleasure of meeting her. She did a meet and greet and the North Point Mall in Atlanta, where of course signed albums and posters (yes I do have both lol), took some photos and all but also she performed four of her songs, City Love, Hello My Apple, Mr. Workabee, and Dollhouse (acoustic version). and seriously ya'll she sounds just like her album and in a good way. most female artisit sound completly different live which makes it painfully clear they get serious retouching in the studio, but Ms. Renea sounds fresh out the studio, her voice is her voice nothing added, not many artist can say that not even queen B Beyonce.
Her style is different fun open just makes you want to paint your finger nails 2 different colors, and put bows in your hair but still be on your grown woman status!
